Blogs: Entry #4

 The Saga Continues

My litter of Doberman puppies are still around, almost 9 weeks old. They along with school are on the list with some of the hardest things I have done in a while. I am having to feed these puppies, which is not bad. The cleaning up after these dogs are a game changer. The amount of poop and pee is mind blowing.

As, I stated before, my mother and sister are dog breeders, in another state. I hear them talked about how much money they make selling dogs, So, I decided to give it a try, I will never do this again. one reason is people like to waste other people time. People text me and ask for more pictures of the puppies, I be thinking, the picture are on the ad you saw the dog on. Then they call me with a sad story about a dog they had before, talk for 15 or 20 minutes, tell me they are going to buy a puppy. I never hear from them again, I sent extra pictures, listen to your story, and wasted my time.

They are so cute, lovable and destructive.

Entry #3 Slanted Reporting Quest

 Slanting in writing

We all have all bias, but in writing we can be factual and not opinionated. Perhaps, we can be opinionated, but do it in a way that the readers can not recognize out slanting. I would suggest steering your reader only with favorable stats and data to make our bias side more convincing.

We live in polarize political times, political media outlets do not even try and hide their bias. For example, over the past few years, we have had major breaking news in America. But some media outlets will not air major real-life events, if it does not meet their network slanting. For example, there was some major political event that was happening, and Twitter and Instagram were going crazy. At the top of an hour, I would turn to several new outlets, most were airing the major breaking new and the network that has a bias Pov were not coving said story. When the story became to big to ignore, they cover the story with a slanted point-of-view.

Blog #2

 This summer was brutal.

For all my fellow Arizonia, how was your summer? we had records breaking temperature this summer. At one point, it had been oner 110 degrees for over a month. I did not want to go outside during the daytimes. My a.c. could not keep up with the hellish heat. Also, I received the highest electrical bill of all time.  My electric bill was almost $600, pervious high electric bill was about $450.00.

Go to this link to see our past record break heat, www.azcentral.com, that we had during summer 2023. Guess what? Be prepared for another hot summer next year.

Blog #1 I am a grand-dog-dad

 I am a grand-dog-dad

If you have seen any of my blogs from my past English 101 class, then you know I have 2 Dobermans. I have a 3-year-old girl and 1 & 1/2-year-old boy Doberman. Guess what? They had puppies for the first time.

It was cool watching the mom do all the feeding and cleaning but now that the puppies are older, she left all the work to me. It is so much work cleaning up after all these puppies.  I can honest say the new puppies are affecting my life in a negative way. I guess that is what being a grand-dog-dad is all about. it time to find my new grand-dogs a home. I will keep you posted, or should I say I will keep you blogged.
